The Canaan Disability Home Fund is dedicated to safeguarding the dignity and respect of the impoverished and the severely disabled. Established in 2008, CDH is a non-profit organization providing long-term care services to severely disabled sufferers living below the poverty line. CDH has been operating at maximum capacity since 2009, providing care to 72 disabled residents. Their mission is to safeguard the dignity and respect of the impoverished and the disabled. Their objective is to provide first-class long-term care for the disabled. Canaan Disability Home provides long-term care for the disabled through social welfare counseling, occupational training, and community service.

The governmental subsidy is NT21000, which was set in 2012.  However, Taiwan experienced quite a bit of inflation and increase in salary over the past decade, and 2021 operationing expenses averaged NT37000 per resident.  Unfortuately, the administering government focus all attention on winning the next election, than updating social welfare subsidies.   That's why we need to fundraise.
